pair
双 counts things that come in pairs.
Put the number before 双.
suitable
合适 means it fits well, or it is the right choice.
Put 很 before 合适.
old (not new)
旧 is the opposite of new for objects.
Do not use 旧 for a person's age.
to change; to exchange
换 is changing one thing for another.
Put the clothing after 换.
upper garment; top
上衣 is clothing for the upper body.
Compare it with 裤子.
ugly; bad-looking
难看 is the opposite of 好看.
Put 很 before 难看.
Pick one item from each column. When all three belong together, they lock in as a match.
换 plus the clothing is the action. 更 still strengthens 合适 or 好看.
换 means changing one thing for another. 旧 and 难看 describe clothes you may want to change. 上衣 is the top. 双 counts shoes.
